Welcome to Cosmos, Valour, and Vows!
Cosmos, Valour and Vows is an online bookshop owned and managed by Filipino-born Canadian sisters based in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Most of our inventory will come from our personal book list, either something we’ve already read or want to read. However, we also have a Book Interest Form, where readers can request us to order titles that are not already in our inventory. This will help expand our inventory and broaden our collective reading experience.
how we started
The inspiration to create Cosmos, Valour, and Vows comes from a desire to see more non-mainstream books written by more diverse authors on the shelves.
Where we want to go
Our goal is to build our inventory around titles that are not often found in chain bookstores. Additionally, we aim to highlight POC, Independent, and Canadian authors. We focus on sci-fi, fantasy, and romance because these are the genres that we are passionate about. We aim to broaden our customers' personal libraries by hopefully introducing seldomly marketed titles. As our business grows, our goal is to build a physical shop in the Greater Vancouver area so that we may create a cozy space to browse and read.
