Welcome to Cosmos, Valour, and Vows (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By using our website (“Website” or “Site”) and purchasing our products, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). Please read them carefully before using our Website.

1. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to make purchases on our Website.
  • By placing an order, you represent that all information you provide is accurate, complete, and current.

2. Products

  • We sell new books, used books, and merchandise (collectively, “Products”).
  • Product descriptions and images are for informational purposes only. Colours, editions, and conditions may vary slightly.
  • Used books may contain signs of wear (e.g., highlighting, notes, or shelf wear). Condition will be described to the best of our ability, but all used items are sold “as is.”

3. Orders & Payments

  • By placing an order, you agree to pay the listed price plus applicable taxes and shipping fees.
  • We accept payment via all major credit and debit cards.
  • Orders are not confirmed until payment is processed.
  • We reserve the right to cancel or refuse orders for any reason, including stock unavailability, errors in pricing or product details, or suspected fraud.

4. Shipping & Delivery

  • We ship to Canada and to the US on select items.
  • Shipping costs and estimated delivery times will be displayed at checkout.
  • Delivery dates are estimates only; we are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs, or events outside our control.
  • Risk of loss passes to you once we hand your order over to the carrier.

5. Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

  • New Books & Merchandise: Returns accepted within 14 days of delivery if items are in original condition. Customer is responsible for return shipping unless the item is defective or incorrect.
  • Used Books: All sales are final. Due to their unique nature, we cannot accept returns on used books unless the wrong item was shipped.
  • Refunds (if applicable) will be issued to the original payment method once the returned item is received and inspected.
  • Clearance and discounted items are final sale.

6. Pricing & Availability

  • Prices are listed in CAD.
  • We reserve the right to change prices, promotions, and availability without prior notice.
  • If a pricing error occurs, we may cancel your order and issue a refund.

7. Intellectual Property

  • All content on this Website—including text, product descriptions, images, graphics, and logos—is owned by Cosmos, Valour, and Vows and its licensors.
  • You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify Website content without prior written consent.

8. User Accounts

  • You may be required to create an account to place orders.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Mobile Terms of Service

Cosmos, Valour, and Vows

The Cosmos, Valour, and Vows mobile message service (the "Service") is operated by Cosmos, Valour, and Vows (“Cosmos, Valour, and Vows”, “we”, or “us”). Your use of the Service constitutes your agreement to these terms and conditions (“Mobile Terms”). We may modify or cancel the Service or any of its features without notice. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we may also modify these Mobile Terms at any time and your continued use of the Service following the effective date of any such changes shall constitute your acceptance of such changes.

By consenting to Cosmos, Valour, and Vows’s SMS/text messaging service, you agree to receive recurring SMS/text messages from and on behalf of Cosmos, Valour, and Vows through your wireless provider to the mobile number you provided, even if your mobile number is registered on any state or federal Do Not Call list. Text messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system or other technology. Promotional messages may include promotions, specials, and other marketing offers (e.g., cart reminders).

You understand that you do not have to sign up for this program in order to make any purchases, and your consent is not a condition of any purchase with Cosmos, Valour, and Vows. Your participation in this program is completely voluntary.

We do not charge for the Service, but you are responsible for all charges and fees associated with text messaging imposed by your wireless provider. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan and contact your wireless provider for details. You are solely responsible for all charges related to SMS/text messages, including charges from your wireless provider.

You may opt-out of the Service at any time. Text the single keyword command STOP to +18773202951 or click the unsubscribe link (where available) in any text message to cancel. You'll receive a one-time opt-out confirmation text message. No further messages will be sent to your mobile device, unless initiated by you. If you have subscribed to other Cosmos, Valour, and Vows mobile message programs and wish to cancel, except where applicable law requires otherwise, you will need to opt out separately from those programs by following the instructions provided in their respective mobile terms.

We may change any short code or telephone number we use to operate the Service at any time and will notify you of these changes. The wireless carriers supported by the Service are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. You agree to provide us with a valid mobile number. If you get a new mobile number, you will need to sign up for the program with your new number.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that we will not be liable for failed, delayed, or misdirected delivery of any information sent through the Service, any errors in such information, and/or any action you may or may not take in reliance on the information or Service.
